Description
Adamant platelegs are tier 40 melee leg armour in RuneScape 3. They fit in the legs slot and count as tank armour. You need level 40 Defence to wear them. They give 138.1 armour, a small damage reduction of 0.8% against monsters, and 2.1% in player versus player combat.
These platelegs are made of adamantite. They offer better defence than mithril platelegs but are weaker than rune platelegs. This makes them a solid pick for mid-level melee training and everyday combat.
Players with the Smithing skill can make them at a forge and anvil using 3 adamant bars. They can also be upgraded. Adding 3 more bars makes adamant platelegs +1 at tier 41. Adding 6 more bars after that makes adamant platelegs +2 at tier 42, with 146.9 armour.
The platelegs are tradeable and can be turned into a bank note. They can also be disassembled with the Invention skill. Disassembly can give Cover parts, Deflecting parts, Plated parts, Strong components, and Protective components. They also drop from Animated Adamant Armour and come in the adamant armour set (lg).
