Description
The Adamant spikeshield 0 is a fully uncharged Adamant spikeshield in RuneScape 3. It is a spiked square shield worn in the off-hand slot. Because it has no charge left, it can be traded to other players. This is the only state in which the shield can be traded.
When recharged, the shield becomes a tier 43 melee shield. It gives 137.8 armour and 4.5% damage reduction against monsters. It holds 30,000 combat charges before it degrades again, much like Barrows equipment. Recharging costs 5 tokens from the Fist of Guthix minigame. You need 45 Defence to wield it, and it is a members-only item.
The shield can also be disassembled for Invention. It gives 13.5 Disassembly XP and produces 8 materials. Possible materials include Cover parts, Base parts, Deflecting parts, Strong components, and Protective components. This makes it useful for players who want parts for their Invention training.
The Adamant spikeshield weighs 5 kg and is not stackable. It was first added to the game on 9 April 2008 as a Fist of Guthix reward that costs 50 tokens.
