Description

Ahrim's hood (broken) is the fully degraded version of Ahrim the Blighted's leather hood from RuneScape 3. It is part of the Barrows equipment set. Because it is fully broken, it can be traded. It must be repaired before it can be worn again.

Once repaired, the hood is tier 70 Magic tank armour for the head slot. You need 70 Defence and 70 Magic to wear it. It gives 297.2 armour, a 700 life point bonus, 1.4% PvM damage reduction, and 2.625% PvP damage reduction.

Repair costs 138,000 coins at an NPC like Bob in Lumbridge or Tindel Marchant at Port Khazard. An armour stand in a player-owned house lowers the cost based on your Smithing level, down to 69,000 coins at level 99.

A repaired hood lasts for 100,000 charges of combat. It works just as well at low charge as it does at full charge. When worn with the full Ahrim's set, including the staff, your magic attacks have about a 25% chance to lower the enemy's Strength by five levels. This makes it a strong pick for mages who want defence and a useful set effect.
