The Ammonite Necklace token is a RuneScape 3 item that unlocks the Ammonite Necklace cosmetic override. This override changes the look of your neck slot. It is a fun way to show off a beach style in the game.
When you redeem the token, you get a confirmation prompt. After you confirm, the token is destroyed and the override is unlocked for good. You cannot redeem the token more than once. The override stays with you after that.
The token comes from The Beach event. It first appeared in 2021 and has returned each year through 2025. Players could earn it by doing beach activities, killing Clawdia, or getting it from the event shop.
The token is tradeable and stackable. It weighs nothing and is always kept on death. You do not need to be a member to use it. It cannot be noted, alchemised, or disassembled. Since 24 June 2024, Ironman Mode players can also trade beach reward tokens like this one on the Grand Exchange.
This token is a good pick for players who collect cosmetic overrides or missed a past Beach event.
