Description

The Amulet of the expert (new) is a members-only amulet in RuneScape 3. It is a platinum amulet enchanted with the Lvl-5 Enchant spell. It helps you train faster when you upgrade certain gear.

The amulet gives 20% extra progress on each action, rounded down. It works on burial equipment in Smithing, martial equipment in Fletching, ascended equipment in Runecrafting, and adorned equipment in Crafting. Each action uses one charge, and a new amulet has 250 charges. If the Tinker perk activates while you smith, the amulet's bonus is applied first and then doubled by the perk.

Once the first charge is used, the amulet is no longer new and cannot be sold on the Grand Exchange. The amulet is tradeable, equipable, noteable, and can be disassembled for Jewellery components like precious components and enhancing components. It has no combat stats and weighs almost nothing.

This amulet is a smart pick for players who want to finish burial smithing, martial fletching, ascended runecrafting, or adorned crafting with less work. It was added to the game on 16 June 2025.
