Description
The Ancient ceremonial gloves are a members-only item in RuneScape 3. They are part of the Ancient ceremonial robes set. The gloves go in the hands slot and have no requirements to wear. Anyone can put them on.
The gloves give no stats. They have no armour, no life points, and no damage bonuses. Their value comes from the full set. When you wear all the Ancient ceremonial robes, you can move through the Ancient Prison without needing kill count. This makes trips to the Nex boss fight much faster. The robes do not protect you from monsters in the area.
You can also sacrifice the full robe set with 10,000,000 coins and a frozen key to Ashuelot Reis. This opens the doors to the safe area in the Ancient Prison for good and unlocks an achievement.
These gloves drop from ancient mages at a rate of 1/640, and from Nex's mages Fumus, Umbra, Cruor, and Glacies at 1/75 each. The gloves are tradeable, noteable, and can be disassembled. Disassembly has a 98.9% junk chance and a special chance at Zaros components. The gloves weigh 0.453 kg.
