Description
The Ancient cloak is a members cape in RuneScape 3. It is part of the ancient robe outfit and is dedicated to Zaros. Players can get it from hard reward caskets earned through Treasure Trails.
This cloak is special. It is one of only two capes in the game counted as magic tank armour. The other is the third age druidic cloak. Wearing it boosts the damage reduction of the Animate Dead spell. That makes it a strong pick for players who use that spell to stay safe in combat.
You need level 40 Magic and level 40 Defence to wear it. It is a tier 40 magic cape with 18.8 armour and a Prayer bonus of 3. It weighs 0.4 kg and can be traded, noted, or stored in the elite section of a player-owned house treasure chest with the rest of the outfit.
The cloak can also be disassembled for Invention. It always gives one Fortunate component and can yield Cover parts, Magic parts, Deflecting parts, Powerful components, or Protective components. It gives 12 disassembly XP and has a 56 percent base junk chance.
