Description

The ancient mace is a holy mace of Bandos in RuneScape 3. Players get it during the quest Another Slice of H.A.M. and must finish the quest to wield it. It needs level 25 Attack and level 15 Strength. It is a tier 15 main hand melee weapon with a crush style, 144 ability damage, 257 accuracy, and a Prayer bonus of 3. Its stats sit between an iron mace and a steel mace.

The mace has a special attack called Favour of the War God. It costs 100% adrenaline and hits through Protect from Melee, dealing 125 to 145 percent ability damage. It restores your Prayer points by 10 percent of the damage dealt. Against another player, it also drains their Prayer points by the same amount. The special attack works on Sigmund in the Dominion Tower too.

The ancient mace can protect you from Bandos followers in the God Wars Dungeon. If you lose it, you can buy it back from Tegdak near the Dorgesh-Kaan marketplace for 1,000 coins, or from the generals in Goblin Village. It has ancient goblin symbols on it and cannot be alchemised.
