Description
The Ancient staff is a two-handed magic weapon in RuneScape 3. It is a tier 50 staff with 850 accuracy and 720 ability damage. You need level 50 Magic and the Desert Treasure quest to wield it. The staff has the symbol of Zaros at its head, but it does not give protection in the God Wars Dungeon.
Players can buy the staff once from Eblis for 80,000 coins after Desert Treasure. Mummies in the Jaldraocht Pyramid and the Chaos Tunnels also drop it. If you lose the staff, you must kill mummies to get a new one.
The Ancient staff is needed for the Staff on Stryke achievement. It is also used for a master emote clue. You can store it in a hidey-hole at the start of the Hefin Agility Course. Once you complete the elite desert set, you can upgrade it to the enhanced ancient staff. The enhanced version has 1694 accuracy and +2 prayer, which matches a level 75 staff.
The Loyalty Programme Shop lets you recolour the staff for 6,000 Loyalty Points. You can pick green, blue, red, or yellow.
