Description

The Armadyl chestplate shard is a members only item in RuneScape 3. It is one piece of the Armadyl chestplate. When you collect 120 shards, you can combine them to make a full Armadyl chestplate.

These shards come from Kree'arra or his minions. When an Armadyl chestplate drops while CoinShare is active, the drop turns into 120 shards. The shards are split equally among the players who killed the monster and sent straight to their banks.

Shards are easy to store and trade. They are stackable and weigh nothing, so they take up just one spot in your bank or inventory. You can trade them to other players or sell them on the Grand Exchange. If you die, the shards are reclaimable.

Note that shards cannot be worn on their own. They also cannot be noted, disassembled, or alchemised. Their only use is to build toward the full chestplate. Buying shards is a smart way to work up to an Armadyl chestplate one step at a time instead of paying for the whole item at once.
