Description

The Armadyl crossbow is a one-handed crossbow in RuneScape 3. You need 75 Ranged to wield it. It is a tier 75 weapon that uses bolts and has a range of 7 squares. It attacks at the fastest speed of 2.4 seconds and has an accuracy of 1694.

This crossbow gives a Prayer bonus of 1. It is the only crossbow in the game with a Prayer bonus. It also does not degrade, so you never need to repair it.

The crossbow was added with the God Wars Dungeon update in 2012. It drops from Commander Zilyana, and her minions Bree, Growler, and Starlight can drop it at very rare rates. In the lore, Zilyana stole it from Kree'arra as a trophy.

There are no tier 75 bolts in the game, so higher level bolts are often used. Those bolts need a higher Ranged level, and their damage is scaled down to tier 75. The crossbow also has an off-hand version, so you can dual wield.

Players can disassemble it for a guaranteed Armadyl component, which is useful for Invention. It works well as a mid-level Ranged weapon and pairs with its off-hand counterpart.
