The Armadyl helmet shard is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. Players get these shards from Kree'arra or his minions in the God Wars Dungeon. When an Armadyl helmet drops while CoinShare is active, it turns into 120 shards. The shards are split among the players who killed the monster and sent to their banks.
Shards are tradeable and stackable, and they weigh nothing. You cannot wear them or take them apart. Their main use is simple. Collect 120 shards and combine them to make a full Armadyl helmet. You can also sell the shards to other players or on the Grand Exchange, where the buy limit is 120.
The finished Armadyl helmet is Ranged Power armour. It needs 70 Defence to wear and is part of the Armadyl armour set. It gives 259.8 armour, a 17.5 damage bonus, and a 1 prayer bonus. It is the second best non-degradable range helm in the game, beaten only by the Anima Core helm of Zamorak. Shards are a smart pick for players who want to build this helmet piece by piece or trade for profit.
