The Aurora Trail aura override token is a RuneScape 3 item that unlocks the Aurora Trail aura override. Redeem the token to add the override to your account. The token is used up when you claim it, and you must confirm before it is consumed. Once the aura is unlocked, the token cannot be claimed again.
Aurora Trail is a cosmetic override that sits in the aura slot. It changes how your character looks, not how you play. It is not members-only and cannot be recoloured. The trail does not show in PvP-enabled areas.
The token is tradeable and stackable. It cannot be equipped, disassembled, or alchemised, and it is always kept on death. Its item ID is 58261.
The token came out on 16 December 2024. Players could win it from the Snow Imp's Grotto promotion on Treasure Hunter between 16 and 21 December 2024. Ironman Mode players can get it through the Grand Exchange. This makes the token a good pick for players who missed the event and still want this winter-themed aura look for their character.
