Description

The Azure Hurricane cosmetic ability scroll is a tradeable item in RuneScape 3. When you use the scroll, it unlocks the Azure Hurricane override. This is a special animation for the Hurricane ability. It changes how the ability looks when you use it in combat.

The Azure Hurricane override is a members-only cosmetic in the Combat Animations category. It does not change how the ability works. It only changes the look, giving your Hurricane attack a fresh blue style that stands out in fights.

The scroll first came out on 4 March 2024. It was a reward from the Academy of Heroes promotion on Treasure Hunter. During the 2025 Christmas event, players could also get it from Santa's Christmas Presents.

The scroll weighs nothing and can be noted. It cannot be equipped, stacked, or disassembled. It cannot be turned into coins with alchemy. If you die, the scroll is always kept. Its examine text reads, "This scroll can be redeemed for the Azure Hurricane cosmetic ability override."
