Description

Bacon is a food item in RuneScape 3. Eating one piece heals 300 life points. It is a members-only item made by cooking raw bacon on a fire or range. Cooking it needs level 14 Cooking and the quest Bringing Home the Bacon. Each piece cooked gives 68 Cooking experience.

Bacon is more than a snack. Three pieces are used to make a pork pie. It is also an ingredient in bacon cheesecake, which needs level 57 Cooking. Bacon is needed for the Contract Claws mystery at the Infernal Source Dig Site. It can be offered in Temple Trekking, and players can even eat it right from the bank interface.

Bigger versions exist for players with higher Cooking levels. The bacon stack, pile, heap, and mound hold 2, 4, 8, or 16 pieces and heal up to 1,100 life points in one slot. That makes them great space savers for long trips.

Eating bacon also counts toward the Nice to Meat You achievement. For skillers, cooks, and quest fans, bacon is a simple item with many handy uses across RS3.
