Description
The bag of salt is a members only item in RuneScape 3. Its main job is to finish off rockslugs. When a rockslug drops to 240 life points or less, use a bag of salt on it. The rockslug dries up, shrinks, and dies. This uses up the bag of salt. Be careful with timing. If the rockslug has 241 or more life points, the salt does nothing, but the bag is still used up.
Bags of salt also matter for quests. Players need them in the Fur 'n Seek quest to salt the hides of animals. A bag of salt is also required in the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest to enter Flashback 3.
The item is tradeable, stackable, and can be disassembled. It weighs nothing, so it will not slow players down. It cannot be equipped or noted. On death, it is always kept outside a dangerous area. Any player who trains Slayer on rockslugs or works on these quests will want bags of salt on hand.
