Description

Bakriminel bolts are strong ammo for crossbows in RuneScape 3. They are made from the wood of the bloodwood tree and tipped with bolt tips from Mami Rimba. You need 80 Ranged to use them, and they have a damage stat of 720. Any crossbow can fire them, but tier 80 weapons like the chaotic crossbow and royal crossbow use them at full strength.

These bolts can be upgraded. Add gem tips and enchant them to raise their damage and gain passive effects. Enchanted versions reach tier 95 with a damage stat of 912 and need 99 Ranged. Blightbound crossbows give a 25% chance to save a bolt on each shot, and using both gives a 50% chance. Ava's devices can also pick your bolts back up.

Regular bakriminel bolts have special effects in PvP. You can aim at the head, torso, or legs. Head shots can slow the target's magic casting for 30 seconds. Torso shots can cause a bleed that deals 1% of their max life points per second for 60 seconds. Leg shots can drain run energy and even bind the target for 10 seconds. These effects work only with regular bolts, not gem-tipped ones.
