Balarak's sash brush is a skilling off-hand for Archaeology in RuneScape 3. It needs level 80 Archaeology to wear. It is a precise brush made in the dragonkin style. It once belonged to Balarak, a dragonkin of the Aughra faction.

The brush gives a passive effect called Dragonkin Precision. It adds 5% to your excavation success rate and 5% to your mattock base precision. It also gives a 10% chance to find an extra material while you dig. This stacks with the effect of Guildmaster Tony's mattock.

The brush also helps with the time sprite. When you reach 100% sprite focus, you have a 5% chance to gain Chronal Focus. This sets your focus to 100% and moves the time sprite right away. It lasts 30 seconds or until it triggers 5 times. It stacks with a powerburst of opportunity, so you can get a 14x Sprite Focus bonus up to five times.

Making this brush yourself takes level 103 Archaeology and level 95 Dungeoneering, plus many rare materials. Buying it saves all that grind. The brush is tradeable and weighs 0.8 kg.
