Description

The Bird whistle is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. When you blow it, you get a buff that boosts your chance of finding a certain type of bird's nest. The buff lasts 20 minutes, and you can stack it up to 60 minutes.

Before you blow the whistle, you can tune it. You pick the kind of nest you want. You can choose nests with seeds, rings, or eggs. When you get a bird's nest, the buff raises the chance of getting your chosen type by 20% multiplicatively. It does not guarantee that type of nest.

The whistle is used up when you blow it. The item is stackable and tradeable, but you cannot equip it. It weighs nothing and cannot be alchemised. Its backpack options are Blow, Tune, Use, Destroy, and Examine. It has a buy limit of 100.

This item is great for players who gather bird's nests, such as those who cut trees or do other skilling. If you want more seed nests for farming, or more ring and egg nests, the Bird whistle helps you aim for the nests you need.
