The Black 2h Sword is a two-handed melee weapon in RuneScape 3. It needs an Attack level of 25 to wield. It is stronger than the steel 2h sword, so it is a solid upgrade for low level fighters. The sword uses the slash style with average attack speed. It has 558 damage and 381 accuracy.

This sword is free to play and tradeable, so any player can use it. Like all black gear, it cannot be made with the Smithing skill. Players normally get it as a drop from monsters like Black Knights, Lesser Demons, and Cyclopes, or as a reward from easy clue scrolls, the Observatory Quest, or the Shades of Mort'ton minigame. It can also be bought from Anton in the Warriors' Guild or Gaius in Burthorpe.

The Black 2h Sword is also useful for the Invention skill. When taken apart, it always gives one Knightly component, which can be hard to find from other items. It gives 7.5 disassembly XP and can also give Base, Blade, Metallic, Sharp, and Strong parts. It weighs 3.6 kg.
