Description
The Black full helm is a horned helmet made of black metal in RuneScape 3. It needs level 25 Defence to wear. It is tier 25 melee tank armour that goes in the head slot.
This helm gives 76.2 armour and a 250 life points bonus. It also cuts damage a little, with 0.5% less damage from monsters and 0.9375% less damage in PvP. Its stats match the white full helm, but it has no Prayer bonus. After a visual rework, the horns on the helm look like the symbol of Zamorak.
Black gear cannot be made with the Smithing skill, so players get this helm in other ways. It drops from creatures like Black Knights, Moss giants, Flesh Crawlers, Chaos dwarfs, and Shadow warriors. Shops like Horvik's Armour Shop in Varrock and Peksa's Helmet Shop also sell it.
The helm is free to play, tradeable, and can be turned into a note. It can be disassembled and always gives one Knightly component. Players who want a different look can find heraldic, silver-trimmed, and gold-trimmed versions from easy clue scrolls. All of these share the same stats as the plain helm.
