The black halberd is a two-handed melee weapon in RuneScape 3. You need level 25 Attack to wield it. It is a members-only item, and it is tradeable. Like all black gear, it cannot be made with the Smithing skill.

This halberd is a tier 25 weapon that uses the Slash style. It has 558.8 ability damage and 381 accuracy. Its attack speed is average at 3.6 seconds.

The best part of a halberd is its reach. It has an attack range of 2, so it can hit enemies two squares away. Most melee weapons can only hit one square away. This lets you fight from safe spots. It also gives extra range to area abilities like Hurricane, Bladed Dive, and Meteor Strike. That makes it handy when fighting groups of monsters, such as on Slayer tasks.

The black halberd can also be disassembled for Invention. It gives 7.5 Disassembly XP and always gives one Knightly component as a special result. It can also give Stave parts, Blade parts, Deflecting parts, Sharp components, and Stunning components.
