This mace uses the crush style. It has 240 ability damage and 381 accuracy. It is one of the fastest weapons in the game, with a speed of 2.4 seconds. Like most maces, it also gives a small prayer bonus of 2. That extra prayer edge makes it a solid pick for low-level combat, since weapons of the same tier deal the same damage after the Evolution of Combat.

Black equipment cannot be made with the Smithing skill, so this mace must be found or bought. It can be purchased from Flynn's Mace Market in Falador. It is also a fairly rare reward from bronze chests in the Shade Catacombs, and it drops from Dark warriors.
