The Black platebody (h3) is a heraldic version of the black platebody in RuneScape 3. It has a special crest design on the chest, but it works the same as the normal black platebody. The stats and requirements do not change. You need level 25 Defence to wear it.
This body armour is a possible reward from easy clue scrolls in the Treasure Trails Distraction and Diversion. You cannot make heraldic armour with the Smithing skill, and no player can add the design to a plain platebody. That makes this item a nice pick for players who want a fresh look at low levels.
The Black platebody (h3) is tier 25 tank armour for melee. It gives 87 armour, 0.5% damage reduction against monsters, and 1.5% damage reduction against players. It is tradeable, equipable, and noteable.
The item can also be disassembled for Invention. It gives 7.5 disassembly XP and 8 materials, and it always yields one Fortunate component. Other possible materials include Cover parts, Plated parts, Deflecting parts, Strong components, and Protective components.
