Description
The Black platebody (t) is a trimmed version of the black platebody in RuneScape 3. The gold trim is only for looks. It has the same stats as the normal black platebody and needs the same level to wear. Players want it because it makes a low level armour set look sharp.
This is tier 25 melee tank armour worn in the body slot. It needs level 25 Defence to equip. It gives 87.6 armour, plus 0.5% damage reduction in PvM and 1.5% in PvP.
Players cannot make this item with the Smithing skill, and no player can trim black armour. It comes from easy reward caskets in Treasure Trails or from cremating at the Columbarium. That makes it a nice pickup for anyone who does not want to grind clue scrolls.
The item is tradeable, equipable, and noteable. It can also be disassembled for Invention parts like Cover parts, Plated parts, and Deflecting parts. A full set of trimmed black armour can be stored in the easy section of a treasure chest in a player-owned house, so it will not take up bank space.
