The Black plateskirt (t) is a trimmed version of the regular black plateskirt in RuneScape 3. It looks the same as the normal skirt but has a light trim added for style. Its examine text reads "Black plateskirt with trim."
This is a cosmetic item. It has the same stats as the plain black plateskirt and the same requirements to wear. It needs level 25 Defence and fits in the legs slot. It is tier 25 melee tank armour with 83.8 armour, a 375 life points bonus, and small damage reduction in PvM and PvP.
Players cannot make this item with the Smithing skill, and normal armour cannot be trimmed. It only comes as a reward from easy clue scrolls in Treasure Trails or from cremating at the Columbarium. That makes it a nice piece for players who want a rarer look at a low level.
The Black plateskirt (t) is free-to-play and tradeable, so any player can buy it, wear it, or sell it later. It is a simple way to stand out from other players wearing plain black armour.
