Description
The Black shield (h4) is a heraldic version of the black kiteshield in RuneScape 3. It has a special crest design on the front, which makes it stand out from the plain black kiteshield. The shield comes from easy clue scrolls in Treasure Trails.
You need level 25 Defence to wear it. It goes in the shield slot and works with melee combat. It is a tier 25 shield with 76.2 armour and 2.5% damage reduction against monsters. These stats are the same as the normal black kiteshield, so this version is all about the look.
The shield is tradeable, so free players can own it even though only members can get it from clue scrolls. It can also be noted and disassembled. Disassembly always gives Fortunate components and can give Cover parts, Base parts, Deflecting parts, Strong components, and Protective components.
If you have the full black (h4) set, with the platebody, helm, and platelegs or plateskirt, you can store it in the treasure chest of your player-owned house costume room. It counts as an easy-level set. This is a great pick for players who want a fresh look at a low level.
