Many players want the black warhammer for the Invention skill. When you disassemble it, you always get one Knightly component, which is a rare special material. Each disassembly gives 7.5 XP with a base junk chance of 72.5 percent. You can also get Base parts, Head parts, Smooth parts, Heavy components, and Strong components from it.

Like all black equipment, this weapon cannot be made with the Smithing skill. It drops from monsters such as Mountain trolls, Troll generals, Black Guards, Giant Rock Crabs, and Ice trolls. The black warhammer weighs 1.814 kg. It is tradeable, equipable, and noteable, but it does not stack.
