Description
The blood necklace shard is a rare members item in RuneScape 3. It is a blood-red shard that can be attached to an amulet. It drops from Edimmu found outside of Daemonheim. Normal Edimmu drop it at a rate of about 1 in 512, and elite Edimmu drop it at about 1 in 128.
The shard is used to make five powerful necklaces. With level 80 Crafting, you can attach it to an arcane stream necklace, brawler's knockout necklace, farsight sniper necklace, occultist's hex necklace, or amulet of fury. Each combine gives 200 Crafting experience. Once the shard is attached, it cannot be removed.
These blood necklaces have a strong passive effect. When you take or deal damage, there is a 33.3% chance to hit the target for 200 to 500 damage and heal you for the same amount. This effect has a 12 second cooldown and makes the necklaces great for long fights and hard bosses.
The shard is tradeable and noteable, so it is an easy way to upgrade your neck slot without grinding the drop yourself.
