Description

Blue dragonhide chaps (t) are ranged tank armour for RuneScape 3. They go in the legs slot and are part of the blue dragonhide trimmed set, along with the blue dragonhide body (t). You need level 50 Defence to wear them.

These chaps have the same stats as normal blue dragonhide chaps, but they come with a silver trim. That trim makes them a nice pick for players who want to stand out. The chaps are tier 50 and give 187 armour, a 750 life points bonus, 1% damage reduction against monsters, and 2.625% damage reduction in PvP.

This is a rare item. It drops as a reward from hard Treasure Trails. You cannot make it with the Crafting skill, and there is no way to add trim to normal blue dragonhide chaps. That keeps this version special.

The chaps are free-to-play, tradeable, and noteable. They can also be disassembled for Invention. Each one always gives a Fortunate component, and it can also give Cover parts, Padded parts, Tensile parts, Evasive components, or Protective components. This makes the chaps useful for gearing up or for hunting rare components.
