Description

Body boots are magic boots in RuneScape 3. They go in the boots slot and are for members only. Players need level 10 Magic to wear them. They are tier 10 tank armour with 10.1 armour and 50 life points.

These boots come from the Elemental Workshop IV quest. To make a pair, a player smiths one body bar on the workbench on level 1 of the Elemental Workshop. This needs level 42 Smithing and the quest must be partly done. Making the boots gives 40 Smithing experience.

Like most elemental armour, Body boots give small combat bonuses. They have no accuracy penalty for magic, but they lower melee, ranged, and necromancy accuracy. They also give a 0.2% damage reduction against monsters.

Body boots are tradeable, so players can buy them instead of doing the smithing work. They can also be noted, and they weigh very little at 0.453 kg. Players who train Invention can disassemble them. Each pair always gives 2 harnessed components, which makes these boots useful for that rare material. They are a good pick for low level mages and for Invention training.
