Description
The Brass key opens the back door of the Edgeville Dungeon in RuneScape 3. This back entrance is inside a small house west of the Cooks' Guild, near Varrock. A ladder in the house leads down into the dungeon.
The dungeon is full of monsters like hobgoblins, hill giants, zombies, skeletons, and giant rats. It is a popular training spot for free-to-play players. Hill giants give great combat experience, and mages who use air spells do very well here. The back door also cuts the trip between the mine and the bank at the Grand Exchange.
Without a key, players must walk in from Edgeville and find the key spawn inside the dungeon. It sits in a dead-end room near the back entrance, guarded by level 29 zombies, just north of the hill giants. Owning a key skips that trip.
The Brass key is tradeable and available to free-to-play players. It cannot be worn and does not stack. It weighs only 0.01 kg. Members can put it on the steel key ring to save bank and inventory space. It is not a quest item.
