Buy RS3 Briefcase

Description

The Briefcase is a fun cosmetic item in RuneScape 3. It is a rare reward from medium clue scrolls. You can also get it from the Giant Oyster, the Treasure turtle, and Magical Dice (T2). Its examine text reads "A suitable container for secret documents."

The Briefcase is wielded in the melee weapon slot and needs no stats to equip. It works as a tier 1 melee weapon with 48 ability damage, 110 accuracy, and a crush style. There is also an off-hand version with 24 ability damage. Both are free-to-play items, so any player can use them.

Most players want the Briefcase for its looks. It lets your character walk around like a spy or a business pro. It is tradeable and noteable, and you can store it in the costume room of your player-owned house. On death, it is always kept outside dangerous areas.

Players who train Invention can disassemble it. It always gives one Fortunate component, plus a chance at Base parts, Head parts, Smooth parts, Heavy components, and Dextrous components. The Briefcase was added to the game on 17 November 2014.
