Description

The broken trimmed masterwork melee helm is the used up form of the trimmed masterwork helm in RuneScape 3. This helm is part of the trimmed masterwork armour set, the strongest smithable melee armour outside of Daemonheim. It needs level 92 Defence to wear once it is repaired.

A working helm starts with 100,000 charges of combat. When the charges run out, it breaks and cannot be used. To fix a broken helm, use it on an anvil while carrying an unused and untrimmed masterwork helm. That helm is consumed in the repair.

Once repaired, the helm is tier 92 power armour with 457.4 armour, a 23.0 damage bonus, and a prayer bonus of 2. It also counts toward the trimmed masterwork set bonus. Each piece worn delays 10% of incoming damage and spreads it out over the next 6 seconds. With all five pieces, that grows to 50%. This helps players survive big hits that would end a fight.

The helm does not use charges inside Elite Dungeons or the Sanctum of Rebirth. It can also be custom-fit by Elof to double its charges.
