Cadantine incense sticks are a members-only item in RuneScape 3. They help you gather for longer. Each potency level gives a 2.5% chance to not exhaust a tree while Woodcutting or a material cache in Archaeology. At the max potency of level 4, that chance is 10%. If the effect triggers on an eternal magic tree, the tree lasts 30 more seconds.

To use them, light a stick with the incense burner on your tool belt. Each stick adds ten minutes to the timer, up to sixty minutes. Potency starts at level 1 and goes up by one level every ten minutes until it hits level 4. You can also overload by using six sticks at once. This jumps you straight to max potency for ten minutes.

The effect does not clear when you die, and the timer stops while you are logged out. These sticks are stackable and tradeable, so they take up little bank space. Players who want faster Woodcutting trips or smoother Archaeology sessions get real value from Cadantine incense sticks.
