Description
The cadantine seed is a members only Farming seed in RuneScape 3. Plant one seed in a herb patch to grow grimy cadantines. You need level 67 Farming to plant it.
Each seed gives 106.5 Farming XP when you plant it. Harvesting gives 120 XP per herb. The crop takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to grow, in four stages of 20 minutes each. Each plant starts with at least 3 harvest lives. Better compost and planting more seeds at once with plant power can raise that number.
Supercompost or the Fertile Soil spell is strongly recommended. You cannot water the patch or pay a gardener to watch it, so compost is the best way to stop disease. Supercompost yields at least 5 herbs per patch. The crop farmer outfit and master farmer outfit each give a small chance to save a harvest life.
Cadantine seeds are tradeable and stackable, and they weigh nothing. They can also be disassembled. Disassembly almost always gives Organic parts, with a rare chance of Living components. This seed is a solid pick for players training Farming past level 67.
