Description

The Cape (blue) is a wearable cape in RuneScape 3. It fits in the cape slot and has no combat stat requirements. Any player can wear it. The cape provides no armour, damage reduction, life points, or style bonuses. It is a simple cosmetic item described in game as "A thick blue cape." It weighs 0.453 kg.

In the game, this cape can be made by using Blue Dye on a black cape. This needs only level 1 Crafting and gives 2.5 Crafting experience. Blue capes are also sold by Valaine in the Champions' Guild. During the Wanted! quest, the player calls this cape the "Cape of Champions."

The blue cape has a long history. In RuneScape Classic, it could only be bought from the Champions' Guild shop. Players wore it as a sign of accomplishment.

The cape can be disassembled for Invention. It gives 0.3 experience and has a base junk chance of 98.9 percent. Possible materials include Cover parts, Simple parts, Padded parts, and Variable components. This makes it a cheap and easy pick for players who want a classic blue look for their character.
