Description
The Captain Deathbeard's Doublet token is a token unlock item in RuneScape 3. When you redeem it, you unlock the Captain Deathbeard Doublet cosmetic override. The token is destroyed when you use it, and it cannot be redeemed again after the override is unlocked. Redeeming takes only 1 tick, which is 0.6 seconds, and it does not require membership.
The doublet is a chest-slot cosmetic override. Its trim is said to be made of pure gold. It is part of the Captain Deathbeard cosmetic override set. The override does not show in PvP-enabled areas, and it cannot be recolored.
The token is tradeable and stackable. It weighs nothing and is always kept on death. It cannot be equipped, disassembled, or alchemised. Free-to-play players can use it, and it is not a quest item.
The token was released on 5 April 2023 during the Frank's Free Chest event. In the past, it could also drop from Pirate plunder and Pirate plunder (small). This token is a simple way to get a pirate look that first came from the Deathbeard's Demise event in 2017.
