Buy RS3 Captain Deathbeard's (Phantom) Outfit token
Description
The Captain Deathbeard's (Phantom) Outfit token is a tradeable item in RuneScape 3. It unlocks the Captain Deathbeard (Phantom) cosmetic override. This is a ghostly pirate outfit with 5 parts: Hat, Doublet, Breeches, Hook, and Feet.
To redeem the token, you must already have the regular Captain Deathbeard's Outfit unlocked. When you redeem it, the token is destroyed and the phantom outfit is yours to keep. You cannot redeem a second token once the override is unlocked.
The token is stackable, weighs nothing, and is always kept on death. It works for free players and members alike, and the outfit needs no membership to use. The outfit cannot be recoloured and does not show in PvP-enabled areas.
The phantom outfit first came from the Deathbeard's Demise event in 2017, where players earned it by handing in 8,500 phantom doubloons. The token itself was released on 5 April 2023 and dropped from Pirate plunder rewards. It was also offered in Frank's Free Chest for a short time in April 2023. This makes the token a simple way to grab a rare event look today.
