Buy RS3 Catalyst Detonate cosmetic ability scroll

Description

The RS3 Catalyst Detonate cosmetic ability scroll is a RuneScape 3 item that unlocks the Catalyst Detonate override. This cosmetic override changes the look of the Detonate ability and sits in the Combat Animations category. The scroll was added to the game on 10 November 2025.

Pick Redeem in the backpack to unlock the override. This destroys the scroll. It takes 1 tick and needs no skills or experience. After the override is unlocked, the scroll can no longer be redeemed on that account.

The Sage in the Lumbridge Castle courtyard sold the scroll in the Leagues Reward Shop for 7,500 league points. Detonate was removed as an ability in the Combat Style Modernisation update in March 2026, so the override could not be used after that. The scroll was removed from the shop stock on 7 April 2026.

The scroll is not members only. It is tradeable and stackable. It weighs 0 kg and is always kept on death outside dangerous areas.
