Cider is an alcoholic drink in RuneScape 3. When you drink it, it heals 140 life points and boosts your Farming level by 1. The boost lets you plant valuable fruit trees or other crops that sit just above your current level. It can also help you meet some quest requirements. Drinking it lowers Attack and Strength by 2 to 3 levels, like other brews in the game.

Players can brew Cider with level 14 Cooking using 4 buckets of apple mush and 1 ale yeast in a fermenting vat. A full batch gives 182 experience and 8 glasses of Cider. Brewing takes days, so many players buy it instead. It also sells at The Esoterican Arms, an underground pub in the Miscellania and Etceteria dungeon, which needs partial completion of Royal Trouble.

Cider has other uses too. Five glasses are needed for the Happy Hour task in the easy Seers' Village achievements. With level 12 Construction, 8 glasses can be turned into a cider barrel for a player-owned house, which holds an endless supply. Cider is tradeable, noteable, and weighs 0.55 kg.
