Description

Cider is a members only alcoholic drink in RuneScape 3. When you drink it, it heals 140 life points and boosts your Farming level by 1. The trade off is a small drop of 2 to 3 levels in Attack and Strength, just like other brews in the game.

The Farming boost is small but useful. It lets you plant valuable fruit trees or other crops when you are one level short. It can also help you meet quest requirements without training.

Making cider yourself is slow. It needs level 14 Cooking, a brewery, apple mush, ale yeast, and beer glasses. The brew takes two to five days to finish. Buying cider skips that long wait.

Cider has other uses too. Five glasses are needed for Happy Hour, an easy Seers' Village achievement. With level 12 Construction, eight glasses can be turned into a cider barrel for a player-owned house. The barrel gives an endless supply of cider inside the house.

Cider is tradeable, noteable, and light at 0.55 kg. It is kept outside dangerous areas on death, so it is a safe item to carry.
