Description

The clay ring is a low level Crafting item in RuneScape 3. It is made by firing an unfired clay ring in a pottery oven. Firing it requires level 4 Crafting and gives 11 Crafting experience. The unfired version is made by moulding soft clay with a ring mould.

This ring is available to free-to-play players, so anyone can use it. It can be worn, but it gives no combat stats. It has 0 armour, 0 damage, and 0 accuracy. It weighs only 0.005 kg.

The clay ring has a few uses. Morgan in Draynor Village buys clay rings for 10 coins each. Father Aereck can bless a clay ring and turn it into a ring of devotion.

The ring is tradeable and noteable. It can also be disassembled. It falls in the Jewellery disassembly category and gives 1.2 disassembly XP. Possible materials include Delicate parts, Connector parts, Smooth parts, Precious components, and Enhancing components, with a base junk chance of 95.6%.

Note that crafting a clay ring does not count toward the "Craft pieces of jewellery" daily challenge. The item was added to the game on 24 November 2010.
