The Crown of Seasons is a tradeable rare item in RuneScape 3. It is a living crown filled with natural magic. Its main feature is that it changes its look with the real-world seasons. The crown shows a spring, summer, autumn, or winter style based on UTC time. You can also use the Invert option in the equipment screen to show the season from the opposite hemisphere. A different sound plays when you equip it, based on the season it shows.
The crown was first made by joining four coronets: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. It came out on 28 June 2013, and it has not been craftable since 23 July 2018. That makes it a rare item that many players want to own.
Anyone can wear the Crown of Seasons. It has no combat requirements and no combat stats. It weighs 0.5 kg and is free-to-play. It can be lent to other players but cannot be disassembled. If you store it as a cosmetic override with a Keepsake Key, it still cycles through its seasonal looks. It is a great pick for players who love rare cosmetic items.
