Description

Dagannoth hide is a tough skin taken from dagannoth in RuneScape 3. Players use it to make Fremennik armour. It is the key part in three armour sets: rockshell, spined, and skeletal armour.

Each piece of armour needs a set number of hides. A helmet needs at least one hide. Leggings need two hides. A top needs three hides. To make the armour, bring the hides, some coins, and the right extra parts to Skulgrimen, Sigli the Huntsman, or Peer the Seer. Rockshell armour needs rock-shell pieces. Skeletal armour needs wallasalki bones. Spined armour needs other special dagannoth hides.

Dagannoth hide is also used in Summoning. It is the tertiary ingredient for the spirit dagannoth pouch. Making the pouch needs level 83 Summoning, one spirit shard, and one crimson charm. Each pouch gives 364.8 Summoning experience.

In the game, these hides drop from most dagannoth, including Dagannoth Prime, Supreme, and Rex. Getting a stack of hides saves time. Players can skip long kill trips and start crafting armour or making Summoning pouches right away.
