Description

The tier 70 death guard is a one-handed Necromancy weapon in RuneScape 3. It is a siphon that needs level 70 Necromancy to wield. It has 1043.0 ability damage, 1486 accuracy, and an attack range of 6. It is part of the Death Skull equipment set.

This weapon comes with a strong special attack called Death Grasp. It costs 25% adrenaline and has a 30 second cooldown. It stuns and binds the target for 4.8 seconds and deals 405% to 495% Necromancy damage. It also adds 40% more damage for each Necrosis stack and uses them all up. At 12 stacks, it can deal up to 885% to 975% damage. In PvP, the damage is only 40% effective.

The death guard can be upgraded to tier 80 at the soul forge. Players can also augment it with level 2 Invention to add a weapon gizmo. To wield it, a player must have crafted a death guard of the same tier at least once. Buying a lower tier death guard and upgrading it is a faster way to meet that rule.
