Description

The Double Escape codex is a members only item in RuneScape 3. Reading it unlocks an upgrade for the Escape ability. After the upgrade, Escape can be used twice before it goes on cooldown. This gives players an extra way to dash out of danger fast.

Escape is an Agility ability that needs level 5 Agility. It moves the player backwards several squares. The distance depends on the weapon held. With no ranged weapon, the dash is always 7 tiles. The second Escape charge has its own hidden cooldown. If Escape is only used once, the charge resets over time, so the ability may not go on cooldown at all.

The upgrade works in the Wilderness when the player is not opted in to PvP and not skulled. This makes the codex a smart pick for players who want a safer way to break away from threats.

The codex is made with 750 codex pages at the lectern on Anachronia. It is consumed when the upgrade is unlocked, and it cannot be read if the upgrade is already owned. The item is tradeable, noteable, and very light at 0.001 kg.
