The earth impling jar is a tradeable item in RuneScape 3. It holds an earth impling, a creature caught in the Impetuous Impulses minigame. Players need at least level 36 Hunter to catch one. The jar is a quick way to get loot without hunting the impling yourself.
When you open the jar, you free the impling and it leaves an item behind. You have a 9 in 10 chance to keep the impling jar too. Loot can include earth runes, an earth talisman, a fire talisman, an earth tiara, stone spirits, seeds like harralander and wildblood, a unicorn horn, buckets of sand, compost, an emerald, or a ruby. The average reward is worth about 709 coins.
The jar can also be traded to Elnock Inquisitor. One jar gets you 3 empty impling jars. Two of these jars, plus three gourmet impling jars and one essence impling jar, get you a magic butterfly net.
The jar is noteable but not stackable, and it cannot be equipped. It weighs 2.267 kg. It is a handy pick for players who want rune, seed, and gem loot fast.
