Description
The elemental impetus is a rare Treasure Trails reward in RuneScape 3. It comes from a master reward casket. Players use it to turn a mystic elemental staff into a limitless staff. For example, it can turn a mystic air staff into a staff of limitless air, or a mystic lava staff into a staff of limitless lava.
Limitless staves are tier 82 magic weapons. They give infinite runes of their element, so players never run out of that rune type while casting spells. These staves are degradable and can be augmented.
Making a limitless staff needs level 75 Crafting, the mystic staff to upgrade, and the matching Runecrafting talismans. Each staff made gives 800 Crafting experience. There are seven staves to choose from: air, water, earth, fire, lava, mud, and steam.
The elemental impetus is a members-only item. It is tradeable and can be noted. It can also be disassembled for a fortunate component, which makes it useful for Invention training. This item is a smart pick for mages who want strong tier 82 weapons and free elemental runes.
