Description
The fat snail is a members-only item in RuneScape 3. It is the slimy corpse of a giant snail found in Mort Myre Swamp. Bruise Blamish Snails and Blood Blamish Snails always drop it. Ghasts and Undead Lumberjacks can drop it too.
Players with level 22 Cooking can cook a fat snail to make fat snail meat. This gives 95 Cooking experience and makes a food item. It is a simple way to train Cooking and get food at the same time.
The fat snail is also useful for quests. It is needed in Fairytale I - Growing Pains to get the magic secateurs. It has a right-click Grind option that makes Blamish snail slime. This slime is used to make Blamish oil for the Heroes' Quest. A sample bottle must be in the inventory to collect the slime. Fat snails can also be used in the Temple Trekking activity.
The item is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 2 kg. It is a good pick for players who want quest supplies or easy Cooking experience without hunting snails in the swamp themselves.
